The following is a suggested school supply list for your second grade student. Please send supplies by September 9th, 2011. All of the supplies can be purchased at Staples. Please do not write your child’s name on any of the supplies since the classroom community will share the supplies.

Supply list
- 30 sharpened pencils
- 1 pack of cap erasers (to put on top of the pencil)
- 1 pink wedge eraser
- 3 glue sticks
- 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue
- 1 white folder, 1 green folder, 1 yellow folder, 1 blue folder, 1 purple folder, 1 red folder (all folders must be plain with no designs or brackets on the inside, no plastic folders)
- 2 plain spiral notebooks (plain covers with no designs)
- 5 black and white composition notebooks
- 2 packs of loose leaf paper
- Ziploc bags (gallon size)
- 3 packs of yellow post it notes
- 1 pack of black dry erase markers
- 1 8-pack of Crayola markers
- 1 24-pack of Crayola crayons
- 1 12-pack of colored pencils
- 1 box of tissues
- pointed-tip scissors for children
- 1 1½ inch binder with a pack of dividers
- one family photograph
- your child’s favorite book (please write your child’s name on the inside)
- 1 watercolor set with paintbrush
- 2 rolls of paper towels
